This is a 3 Days Safari to Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya. Samburu National Reserve is a rugged, semi-desert park that has remained almost undisturbed by mankind. The Ewaso Nyiro River cuts through this reserve, drawing a big population of Kenya animals to the park. The river bustles with activity from its huge population of Nile crocodile. Samburu is renowned for its rare species of animals unique to the park, namely: the long necked gerenuk, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe and Beisa onyx.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu park

Leave Nairobi in the morning  and drive to Samburu National Reserve to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch proceed for an afternoon game drive in the reserve hoping to catch sight of Samburu’s ‘Special Five’ – the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Gerenuk, Beisa Oryx and a host of the big game including elephant and lion. Dinner and overnight at your pre-booked safari lodge.

Day 2: Samburu Reserve

After breakfast we go out for a full day Safari Game drive in Samburu Reserve with packed lunch. Dinner and overnight at your pre-booked safari lodge.

Day 3: Samburu to Nairobi

After breakfast drive Nairobi with game viewing en-route arriving in the afternoon.
